becuz Dale sings it in that high falsetto that Buzz does, like in the
'man with the money' part of Bloated Pope. Our Darling
is so good, tell them Grim.

I asked Dale if "dead car" was about a meth house, because the car is  "rusting dead on the lawn", and the paranoid guy in the house Pulls down the shades to make it look like nobody's home. He said, "No, it's just about a car". Imagine that! Altamont rocks because DALE gets to front and play his Gibson Les Paul Gold Top!

hey dreambox/bliss blood how bout some stories about our heroes the melvins?  how do they record?  does buzz dictate almost everything or, do dale and kevin come up with stuff? does buzz always play the les paul in the studio? i know you only did that one kick ass song with em but i had to ask.

Civil War Fantasy is my favorite, Our Darling and the split(Wanted Dead Or Alive) are tied for second. Anyone know the story of the banned cover for CWF? Why would a label like Mansruin ban it? The actual cover doesn't seem any less "controversial".

Yes, Acid King is excellent. Been playing that split w/ Altamont alot lately. You can order the Acid King/Clearlight split CD at the Acid King site for $5. I just ordered that and "Busse Woods" from Small Stone along with MoP - "Experiments In Feedback".

The triumphant return of Altamont! Boy this is something special!
I seriously hope this is the second coming for Dale and co.
It would be great if they pull together a whole tour, update their
website, record a new album and take a good run at it again!
They've been missed!
