Fantomastro

melvins often play their songs different than on the albums.

could also be tipping the lion from the album stag

or the ol` black stooges, the instrumental version they played before recording hat

Like I said before, it's the second (instrumental) half of Black Stooges that they used to open their shows supporting Tool with.
It was longer than on the album and had lots of screeching feedback all over.

GrimReaper

They play Manky so slow live you would think it belonged on The Bootlicker.

It was Hag Me. They played it a lot on that tour.
He said 98. I saw them on that tour they didnt play anything later than Honky.

Dave

Quote from: dissonance19About 4 yrs ago, I saw the Melvins open up for Tool here in Tampa and I have yet to find a set list with what songs they played. But there was this one song that stood out. Not that they all didn't stand out but this one was great. It was based on the drums with a repeating drum beat for awhile and went on for a LONG time. I believe Buzzo sang and it had guitar in it eventually but I cannot find out what this song is. I wish I could remember more about it. It seemed like it went on for 8-10 mins. Does anyone have ANY idea what this song is and what album it's on? Tnanks.

I was at this show as well... Eye Flys maybe?

He never said 98, he said 4 years ago.  Plus Tool didn't play in Tampa in 98 and the only Florida shows that year were Ozzfest ones.

hey ozma, what does it mean if on your website it says, "video recording exist"?
It means that we know the video exists (the video is on a trader list for example) but I've got no information about it

I mean all this in the nicest possible way of course"
