i was into Nirvana... been reading Kurt's various interviews where he kept talking about these Melvins, which made me pretty curious about them.  in 1994 (?) i was with my parents in this shitty commercial store when i spotted a copy of Prick (cd) and i bought it!
no need to say i was shocked after a first listen.  btw, my second album after that was Stoner Witch...i started feeling comfortable with Melvins sound...

Prick was probably their 3rd or 4th album I owned.  I remember being confused with the album but respecting a band that would put out such a strange record.

I take it this is just a vinyl, limited edition version of Prick? Same tracklist and everything? At first i wondered how AmRep could release this but then i had forgot they were behind the original '94 record. For some reason i thought it was on Atlantic.

Probably, but then they won't be able to call it Pure Digital Silence since it's analog.
