was anyone else's covered in cat hair?

I shit you not.  the vinyl itself has cat hair stuck all over it via static cling.

I'm tellin ya,  the packaging is not sealed.  its a hairy mess.

just heard bUTTHOLE's kindly version.    aw man,  its times like these I miss ol' kevy myself.
the bass on the bloat is just out-and-out NASTY.   kev's timing is perfect.  not perfect as in right on original recording time but more perfect as in he slows it down a bit live as opposed to the normal double time everything seems to be when played live.

just out of curiosity I'd like to hear Jared take a crack at the bloat.

I think I'm gonna have to wait another ...??? weeks.  I don't know.  Damn.

just out of curiosity I'd like to hear Jared take a crack at the bloat.
Oh, I'd love to hear them play the Bloat with Jared and Coady.  It's just an awesome song.  I think I need more Stag.

I'll never forget seeing the Melvins with Adam Jones on the GPT reissue tour. They opened up with Eye Flys. Kevin had the intro down pat; his head was bobbing furiously, but it wasn't in time with the bass line intro that he was playing. Like a psycho Angus Young he was able to keep two different rhythms simultaneously, and one was just for his own fun . It was so disturbing, and yet so amazing to watch.

this is serious business here guys.  i don't want a tour of anyones chocolate factory please

I got one of those shows on dime, I love how the crowd goes BFC during that song. Or maybe it was DSS that was playing? Yeah it was. But I noticed the rythm thing, kinda fucks with ones head.

Interesting facts about this release:

1.) there are actually only about 460 copies in existance.  due to printer issues roughly 40 copies were sacrificed.
those are in the early 300's.

2.) about the first 20 copies have original labels on the vinyl itself with a white skull as opposed to red. until, again,
printer issues caused enterupption to change over to a red skull label.

3.) about 45 of the actual records have white or black swirls pressed in the pink (red) vinyl and only a handful are a true
pink.  the rest are a primary red.

4.) "the fool" which was part of the original setlist was left off this recording because of an error by  the legendary kurt
schlagel.    in other words..  he forgot to press record until damn near the end of the first song. that being "the fool".

5.) this released vinyl version has been remastered from the original recording so the sound quality should be better
      than the original cassette release.

6.) this album was originally intended to be manufactered and sold on the POD tour of 07. but the printer "dropped the
ball" and it didn't get completed in time.    (note: imagine how many of us would be bitching about not getting this had
that been how it turned out)
