I was thinking about buying this. Is it the same recording as the Ozma release on boner records or is it a newer recording of the songs. I would love to hear new recordings of the songs

its the same as the old ozma, but with demo versions added. a nice package i say, and necessary for the discriminating melvins user/sucker.

The remastering helps the sound out loads. The version on Ozma, frankly, sounds like shit after you've listened to the Ipecac version...

But, no it's the same old album but you do get demos as stated to give you some different recordings of all the songs...

but i can vouch for the fact that it has 2 full panels on the inside
where buzz talks about the seattle scene, where they were coming
from and influences etc, where they were going and yadda yadda.
it's far superior to the original release.

Whoah! When did Ipecac re-release Ozma? Is it in stores or what? I looked on the website and couldn't find mention of it. Where can I buy it?
The original recordings are super-lame and do Dale no justice. Can't wait to hear the drums turned up and filled out in the mix - if dis be true....
