I'm surprised H.A.T. gets a high rank in most of you peoples lists. I thought I was kind of alone thinking it's genius.

Can't do it, it's too hard.

to follow someone else's lead, my five on the island might be:

-Gluey
-Honky
-HAT
-Stag
-POTRE

Good listening value i think :)

I think it would be easier to pick my least favourites. which, of course, doesn't mean that I don't still love 'em.
-Crybaby
-Houdini
-Never Breathe (if this counts)

Vcavallo

i am surprised so many people don't like crybaby and bootlicker.
well i guess if i had to pick a LEAST liked album out of so many that i do like on a whole it may be one of those, but im not sure.
the bootlicker is pretty good.

EGO the Living Planet

Here we go, this is in very loose order:

Houdini
Bullhead
Hostile Ambient Takeover
Honky
Lysol
The Maggot
Stag
Gluey Porch Treatments
Stoner Witch
The Bootlicker
Colossus of Destiny
Pigs Of The Roman Empire
Prick
Ozma
Your Choice Live Series
Electroretard
The solo EPs (collectively, I have them burned onto a single disc, Individually I rank them: Buzz, Dale, Joe)
10/26 Songs
The Crybaby
Millennium Monsterwork
The Mangled Demos
Singles 1-12

I really tend gruop 'em in 5s, so any of the first 5 might switch around, but are higher than any of the next 5. Never Breathe What You Can't See is to A Jello Biafra album with the MELVINS as guests. I don't rank it with the MELVINS albums. I like it, it just sounds more like a Jello album. Alive at.. and Eggnog are EPs, so I don't rank them with the albums. Eggnog would be rather high, Alive at would be kinda low.

I agree about the solos.  many others here seem to think the opposite which confuses me.  i think joe's is alright, but not genius.  buzz's has a really great sound, even though every single song has the exact same structure.  i find dale's to be very surprising.  almost cheesy.

i am somewhat shocked to find 10 songs at the bottom of your loose list.
i think that stuff is real gold.

i also think the singles discs are pretty amusing and insightful (in relation to the band's personality and sense of humor/seriousness).  but to be fair, i guess it really doesn't belong high on a list.
