It doesn't really sound like something the Fantomas would do.  It's not likely that they'll take people's feedback into consideration and re-record it.

My dear chap, Ipecac's roster has proved beyond a shodow of a doubt that integrity isn't the highest on their list of priorities...

Cynicism will get you nowhere, Ebeneezer.

Hang on. This is an internet forum, so it'll get you everywhere.

Carry on.

Of course! I mean where else but on the Internet do I get to be a tough guy? I mean, if you all knew I was really a 13 year old, morbidly obese kid from Wisconsin none of my comments would have any impact or relevance at all would they?

And I stand by my remarks. Patton's really pissing me off at present...

Your comments would not have any impact or relevance, but I would offer you a free plane ticket to come live with me...

Quote from: GrimReaperBlackmore's Rainbow did similar cover art years ago, thats the first thing that hit my mind when I saw your post.

Isn't that what the hold up on the release was? Packaging/cover art?

It reminded me of the picture on the cd case of Collussus of Destiny where it has the bands names; Korny Ass Joker? How stupid!

JJ

but Rutmanis is SUCH a korny ass joker it makes perfect sense.

is it important, that if it sounds like fantomas or not?
do they have to play em-tjeek, em-tjeek, em-tjeek -tjee tjee tjeeek ...... parapoom... parah.... songs?

i think its perfect that they doesnt stay on one level.... fuck i hate it when i cant expres myself

Grindfag

I doubt they'd re-recorded it, but it wouldn't be a bad move, actually...aside from the visual care and the production, I didn't really like this album.

IMO, there are four or five good riffs on the whole thing, and that isn't much to hold my interest. The whole cd is about climaxes, without never really getting there. It's just a big crescendo for something that never comes, pretty disappointing, to say the least.

With every release, Fant

I think they're releasing an album in 2004 a few months after Delirum.  It's supposed to be "cartoon themed" or something like that.  It will probably be better.  I assume it will be regular tracks instead of one huge one, and it won't be covers either.  I hope Buzz sings some on it.

sorry for the double post man.

I hate to say that these opinions are wrong, but your opinions are wrong.

If you're looking for "riffs", that really isn't what this album is going for. But that's not a bad thing. I suggest you try a different approach to this album. Look for something else in it. Or let the album give you its own context. But it's lack of riffs just doesn't matter. I think it does very well to create its own space within which it works well...it's not comparable to anything (that I've heard, at least), so maybe that's why it's a tough pill to swallow.

I think it's REALLY good, and I'm not a big patton fan. In fact I think he's usually pretty anoying (but don't get me wrong, I love Fantomas).

And listen to it at least a few times...getting the mp3 and skimming for the riffs just doesn't cut it.

Kids these days need patience.
