Jumping the gun somewhat, however i'm curious to what you all think the setlist will be like for this gig, what with the lack of Mr.Rutmanis will such delicious tunes as Let it all be and Black stooges be left out or am I being silly in seeing these as "kevin's songs?" For me he bought a hell of a lot more to the band than any other bass player and wether or not his entire catalogue will simply vanish from live shows is something that is concerning me somewhat. Although I'm not expecting alot of melvins songs at this gig (my moneys on 75% fantomas 25% melvins but I aint completely sure) what do you think they'll be playing?? I have the feeling it will be an altogether Atlantic Albums affair but what do you think?

My guess is that the setlist will be very similar to the Millenium Monsterwork album, plus the songs they played during that show that aren't on MM. In two weeks I can let you know if I'm right.

Also, what are the chances Buzz sings the Melvins songs, instead of Patton?

Lunica

dude, look at the old setlists, its not just fantomas songs!

you should also consider that the fantomas songs (at least a lot of them) are short.
and yeah, patton sings on some of the melvins stuff, but come on, buzz plays guitar with fantomas, and dave scott stone is in there somewhere making some creepy noises as well.
so... ME LIKE!

anyway, i|m guessing theyll play some new songs as well.

now i need to order some travelcards :)

Some, I thought he sang all the stuff? Please correct me if I'm wrong, right now I'm only pretty sure Buzz sings on Promise Me.

Uhm, yeah, so?

Haggardsue

nah the point being for example i can't see them playing black stooges because kevin's style is way different from that of DSS which makes me wonder what they'll be playing. Also Buzz does sing, just less so.

yeah, and i didn't post the setlist to show which songs they DID play, but to show that the percentage of fantomas songs vs. melvins songs is pretty much the same :)
