Melvins halloween SF question...

So i hear the Melvins will be doing a set with Jello and a set alone on the tour. Will they do 2 sets for Halloween? If so this might determin my trip to SF. It looks like theres a few bands on the bill for that night as well.

I'm betting not...unless that's gonna be one hell of a long show. I can't remember if the Great American has to finish their shows by midnight or if that is just for Slims.

This show is a little different than the other shows as Halloween for the last couple of years has been the Alternative Tentacles showcase...that's why all the bands.

I've heard that for other West Coast shows that Altamont might be the supoort band with 2 Melvins sets, one with Jello and one without...but I don't know that for sure and I didn't hear that from management. I'll know more when Moss gets back from England this week.

this is good fuckin' news, I haven't seen  Melvins play a regular Melvins song (with exception of a certain super secret instore earliest this year) since the Capitol Hill Block Party last year.... i'm jonesing!

Any idea on when the melvins will be on stage at GAMH? 

With the amount of bands on the bill, I am expecting we will be there all night.

I've called the venue but they were too busy to look at the schedule. Heres the number:
415 885 - 0750  - GAMH
I will def be going to the thrones and maybe try to catch some of sunno before heading to the melvins. There are 4 opening bands so I think theres a good chance the melvins wont be going on before 11pm
Both shows start at 8pm I believe.

i'll be at the zeitgesit (i work there, half price drinks) gettin my drink on before i head to gamh. my wife wont get off work until ten pm, so it looks like we'll get there just in time to see the jelvins. i do hope to get there in time to catch the dicks also.
i thought about trying to go to sunno)) also because slims is right around the corner from me, but i don't think i can afford  going to both...oh well.

Well chances of anyone seeing this are slim but I just got back from the Great American and I talked to Moss and the real schedule is Dicks at 10:30, Melvins at 11:30/11:45.

Also...word on the street is Zolar X is definitely worth watching. Like a punk rock version of Hawkwind.
