thanks...

I've been toying around with the idea for a while...and it was just getting up the balls to get it on my arm...I only have one other tattoo, a cross on my back...and I really wanted one on my upper arm but I didn't want to look 'dykey' but I mean it's a pretty feminime design...I just wanted the swan with the lines coming out of it...and when i showed the cd cover to the artist he wanted to do some of the flowers plus it would have something else to have the lines come out of and pull it all together...

I like tattoos...but less is more to me...and with the whole 'having it on your body for the rest of you life' thought...well yeah..I figured as long as it's really nice work I would never feel ashamed of it...I mean some people might regret getting a tattoo for what it means to them...but visually if it's nice, it's nice...I mean there are times I regret it even now depending on where I'm at and who I'm with ...but over all I'm more than happy with it

that is sweeeeeet!  i love what you have around the bird.  very well done.

i think i'm going to get the Melvins flower (that KC drew) tattooed on my with the line "ever look at a flower and hate it" somewhere around it...i'm still sitting on the idea though.

i hate tattoo's.  i think people get them to make up for ther lack of personality.  yet i have two already.  one of my double standards i guess.  i don't think they're bad as long as you get something worth-while.

my dad said something interesting to me when i was about 16,
he said tattoos are cool but don't get one if you plan on doing any
crimes, the police will record it as a distinguishing mark.

i like that "ever look at a flower and hate it" idea.
some day in the future when you have kids and are a happy fat middle-aged man you'll wonder how you were ever able to hate anything.

byooteeful swan.  is the color like that because it's healing or is that the way inking was done?  if it is healing, i'd like to see a shot when it's done as well.
regardless, that's a really nice tattoo.  can we see some other views?  i'm kinda curious about what it looks like from the front...
as big as it is, that spot is remarkably hide-able.

Neither of my tattoos are major works of art, but they mean something important enough to me that I want them there forever. One celebrates the birth of my son, the other is the Dead Moon logo, which if you know their history, symbolizes love of art, loyalty to family, and never compromising who you are and what you love. If I ever forget any of those things, I'll see 'em in the mirror.
Also melvins is gay cuz some of their songs are just noise, i tell you this so you all don't buy albums and find out only one two songs is good on them.

so I kinda feel corny posting this on a message board but oh well, anyone that has seen it doesn't recognize it so hopefully someone here will appreciate it...it's pretty new and this isn't the best picture but whatever the little flowers are really detailed very nicely but you can barely see them ...i wanted the random lines design like they use in a lot of their artwork like on the cover of neither here nor there...but it kinda transformed into looking different...but that's what it's based off

Quoteso i know Fred, Toody, and Andrew quite well and i wanted to know who you are cause i wasn't aware of a fourth member in the band. i mean, my understanding has always been, and granted i only know them as friends so maybe you have more information than me,
