my binding and pages are fine.

but one fairly common anomolie did happen to my book.
the band-aid like adhesive that holds the cd sleeve in the book got all goopy and oily and oozed some red shit down the inside back cover.  I have heard NHNT book holders bitch about this in the past. 

Same here. I think the cd's still in there too, now that I think about it.

Take that puppy out, before the cd glue splooge starts to affect the cd.  It's a good mix of songs..as well.

I know I took it out and made a copy of it, and put it back in since it didn't have a case, and I didn't want a loose cd lying around,esp that one. I don't even know what I did with the copy.

Ok, so I just checked it out, and the splooge isn't as bad as I thought, and the cd is still in perfect condition.

I have'nt taken my cd out yet. The band aid is still holding it sealed and has'nt oozed out yet.  Maybe because i made one room in my house into one big humidifier JUST for melvins stuff   lol

Hi EVERYONE

I've been a huge Melvins fan for quite a while now, and I've always enjoyed reading this board (especially 'Holy Fucking Shit Please Read' haha), but this is the first time I've posted, ever. Anyhow, I finally got this book for $100 on amazon, and it is AWESOME!

Like I said, I'm a longtime fan and I try to see the Melvins anytime they come near here, and I love buying anything they put out. I missed the boat on this book when it originally came out, but now after seeing it for the first time, it totally exceeded all my expectations. Anyone that has it knows how extremely cool it is, and anyone who hasnt seen it is missing out big time. Its my favorite Melvins thing I own, and I own almost all the records they put out....

PS: I posted here because I dont know anyone who likes the Melvins as much as I do, and when I was explaining to my wife how much I liked the book, she just kind of rolled her eyes

Welcome.  You'll find many like minded individuals here.  Beyond the Melvins' obvious greatness however, there is great division on pretty much any topic you can think of.

The cover wasnt attached very well; its completely separated from the rest of the book. Its in two pieces: the cover, and all the pages....oh well, I dont plan on selling it or anything....

I've personally given up on trying to make my wife see the MELVINS light.   I accept my 7 year old treatment regarding MELVINS.
