Dale's Drumsticks

I was watching a new live show I just d/led, and I noticed Dale's drumsticks.
He uses, from what I see in the recording, Nylon tips, but the tips are in a bulbous round, almost perfect sphere shape.
not a lot of drummers use these types of tips.
Can anyone tell me what kind of drumsticks these are, and what thickness/size?

it's true, i've seen him use those, but the sticks he gave me one show had considerably smaller tips, i was real surprised. 
this was the most recent tour.

nope its the big tip.  the quantum 3000's.  i almost bought some the other day,  they're really light.

i can't play with girthy sticks, i don't care how light they are.
small, small hands...no laughing!
i like those tips, i've played with the smaller bulbous ones, and they have a nice ting on a cymbal.
sound impeccable it's bell too.

i wish i could've gotten a pair of dale's stick...

from the looks of your avatar it seems that you hold the sticks in your whole fist.  it seems like a big heavy log would be good for you.

yeah, if i'm stupid i'll hold it in a fist, whenever i'm hitting really hard, i'll do it so it doesn't fall out of my hands.
