this project is from the pre-Melvins BB* era, so I don't think that one will be on it.

* clarification: by Melvins BB I mean the current line up with Big Business (BB stands for Big Business)

Yeah, heard 'bout Merzbow ... though what remix album isn't he on?? Can't remember where I heard ... but also talk of Andy Gill (Gang of Four), Brodrick (Godflesh etc.) & Vinda Obmana doin' remixs ... They shoulda got Jay Randall (ANb / Substance Abuse / NYC Apocalypse Recording Group /Submachine Drum)  to do one ... that would be absolute magic!!!

I know this sounds ridiculous but something about slayer keeps coming to mind.

slayer remixing a melvins song? we're talking remixes here, not covers, right? does slayer even do remixes?

nah. it was like tom araya err something.  or maybe that was an entirely different thing. either way...  do you think kev will get a piece of anything with his material?  joe?  mark D?

I'm really looking forward to this release. We should all make our own shitty remixes and make our own compilation...........anyone?

brian

merzbow and kawabata remixes will both be on it for sure, i'm so glad they're going to release this finally, Jesse from melvins.com had a monstrous hand in putting this thing together.

i think i remember hearing about this a couple of years back.  i think the list was a lot of bands like isis and boris.  don't quote me (unless in response to this post).  buzz said it was done and they were just waiting for a good time to release it.

I am the Sun

I hope Isis and Boris are involved. I thought it was kind of ridiculous that Boris wasn't on the tribute album.

someone has a list.....where's the list of remix people............who has the fucking list.  :x  :D
