haha, i like whoever is talking after they play boris (dale?)

"now early this mornin'
i called my mama
i said mama, it's your boy
i'm way down here in mel-bourne
australia..."

klump

Buzz said in an interview that its IMPOSSIBLE to make the live experience on cd (I agree, there are some good live records but they are few) so its kind of weird that they have three.

but Im expecting a lot from the Houdini live, and from what I have heard I think it will be FANTASTIC!

But I just want to say to everyone that I hope all of you BUYS the records when they come out, even if you find it on the net first... after all they are COUNTING ON US.

It must be really scary for them to see stuff appearing for free , when they have worked really hard to make it.

sorry for the de-railing

A great concert.

It's a short set so you're not getting a lot of music, but what you do get captures the Mark D. era of the Melvins well.
When I listen to it I often wonder if the seeds of discontent with Mark D. were already sown during the Austrailian trip.
Being in an airplane that long with someone you can't stand would be tough.

mopafeena

i believe this release wasn't the whole set that was played that night.

correct me if i'm wrong anyone.

It was not the whole set. Unfortunately.

mopafeena

It always seemed weird to me that they didn't release the whole set, but i guess it maybe might of become two cd's then or something if they did. I don't know

It's definitely Mark, big cowboy hat and all. I was there.

I also heard that the songs on this album are not the only ones they played that night. The only live release with Bar-X The Rocking M on it(except maybe live recordings by fans)
What would a woman that fine want in a big, fat, nasty, greasy, fat, stank, bloated, cheesy-backed, 12-sandwich-eatin' bastard?

Turn around mister, and never trust a girl giving her donuts away for free.

You are correct. They played a full set.

I scored this for ten bucks in a local record store on an out-of-town trip in near-mint condition. How much does this typically go for on EBay and the like?

The whole speech ("Let that boy...") is, suprise!, completely stolen.
Just listen to old ZZ Top recordings (I think it is on Fandango) and you hear this stuff too!

It's not stolen, it's a reference to it, likewise with John Lee Hooker's "Boogie Chillun."
