Here We Are Here We Go!

A lot of you have been writing asking for more songs on the page. Our knee-jerk response is usually " why don't you buy the record, you can have ALL the songs, all at once, forever." But, as it happens, our cold steel money-grubbing hearts are actually filled with some sort of gooshy nougat or marshmallow creme. So here's a brand new song, only found on our "Tour II" e.p. Actually, it might also be on some sort of comp or something as well, but you're getting this shit for free so what are you complaining about you ungrateful prick?

    Lots of stuff is about to go down with the Biz. Starting this Saturday, July 1st, we will be going into the studio to record with the Melvins. Buzz and Dale have been whipping us into a razor sharp ruthless killer robot of rhythm, so we're pretty excited about that. Soon as that's in the can, we'll be jetting up to our old hometown of Seattle. MASTER PHIL EK is at the helm once again and will be recording the new Big Business record. Purveyor of transcendental noise and guitar virtuoso extraordinaire DAVID SCOTT STONE will be joining us. We will also be appearing at the CAPITOL HILL BLOCK PARTY on friday, July 28th. So come on out for the partyrock party and stay for the danceparty afterparty party.
AND FINALLY...
The Melvins/Big Business US tour is coming to a town near you (if you're from America) at last. From early September to early December we will be on the road and coming right at you. So load up the vanagon and follow us from town to town. We don't mind! Just have the common courtesy to never, ever make eye contact with any of us. Tour dates posted soon. Thanks, and keep writing!

I think this is the right thread for adding some Big Business information, although who can be really sure at times of excitement like this.

This is from a Big Business interview from Rock-A-Rolla magazine, of which I've been subscribed to since a week or so. Pretty cool magazine by the way for a reasonable prince. And these people seem to understand what the Melvins are about.

But that doesn't mean the end of Big Business. "Our plan with the Melvins is we're trying to do one long continous set, so Big Business will open first and have some weird noise thing in the middle and then have that turn into a Melvins set without any breaks. We're gonna mix it up, it's gonna be different every night. We might start with a double drum thing, Dale and I."

And it says the BB guys are trying to get DSS play guitar for them as well, as mentioned here before.

Not all too shocking I think, but every little piece of information tastes like candy at these days.
