I present THEE TIM MOSS.


How about posting your Moss stories about the almighty MELVINS tour manager. I for one always appreciate his wonderful hospitality at the shows, he is cool as hell AND; plays a mean guitar through an ORANGE amp stack if you've ever seen him with Men of Porn. Anyway, my favorite story is when I first met him I was drunk as hell at the MELVINS 20th show at the Capitol Theater in Olympia, WA. I was a bit loopy and kept calling him "Frank" instead of Tim. I think since he had such a huge beard maybe I thought he was Frank Beard of ZZ Top. Or maybe I thought he was "Frank Bank". I wasn't a dick or anything, but the cool thing was, he could have easily brushed me off as a drunken fool; but he was a great host and has always said hi at every show since. He's damn near as busy as Crover before every gig but if you see him, say hi. Just don't touch the beard.............

Also melvins is gay cuz some of their songs are just noise, i tell you this so you all don't buy albums and find out only one two songs is good on them.

klump and me both shook his hand, and he and klump talked a bit before the show.
he said the melvins might come down after the show, but they didn't.
maybe cause the festival treated them like shit.
but he gave klump buzz's setlist :)

Moss is my main man. This one time I told him that "his band is one of the most bad ass bands, I have ever seen". Then I bought him Crover and Billy Anderson a round of beer. Good times.

nnaahh,  just kidding.  tim is decent person.  he gave me a moment of his attention in detroit. I pestered him about porn playing here seeing as small stone records is based here.  I got the speech about how its hard to get the three of them together to tour, etc. etc.
credit is deserved for him taking a moment to give me an explanation rather than just giving me a generic "leave me the fuck alone" answer.

on a related note:  I got a feeling richie still lurks and is most likey reading this thread.  come on back rich, we love ya.  regail us with a timmy moss anecdote. don't let the "uneducated" speak in circles.    no hard feelings, hey?   honestly.

yeah..tim moss was a real gentlemen...met him @ the October '05 NYC Jelvins gig..I had a CD of some old live versions of the Alice Cooper Group doing "Halo of Flies" that I wanted to hand-off to the  boys...he got me & the wife backstage for a bit of humble hand shaking, etc. w/Jello, Buzz & Dale (it was Dale's B-day that night..there was a big-ass cake in the tiny dressing room)...Moss was very appreciative for the CD, and I think he burned it to his apple laptop before handing it off to the boys....i trust they all got copies....a gentlemen...they were/are all very decent dudes!

Not a full beatdown, more like a brisk exit to the door by the collar of your shirt.  You'll see it happen if someone starts throwing crap at the melvins.
