man,  I had no idea melvins fans were such hermetic losers.     

"I got like maybe one good friend.  and this other dude I say hi to in the hallway everyday.  but I really like the melvins.   so I got that going for me."


you people need to get out a little more.

  none of my friends can even fathom the magnitude of the MELVINS.   keep it that way and you'll be mr. (or ms.) popularity.   don't frighten and confuse the simple minded. keep them in their happy little tool dream world.  its best for everybody.

on a related note:  I was having some beers with friends this weekend over the UFC fight. one guy I know said "been to any concerts lately?" I said "yeah, I went to 2 last weekend." of course he said "who did you see?"   I said "the melvins, both nights."  he got this bewildered look on his face as if to say "the same band,  twice?"  but never actually said it.  he then said "where?" I told him in detroit and grand rapids.   he said "grand rapids?  where at?  van andle arena?"
(van andle is probably 10,000 capacity)   
my response "no, at the intersection.  its a little bar, down the street."
the dude just seemed totally baffled that I drove for a total of 8 hours to go to 2 bars to see the same band play, TWICE.   yet he didn't say anything.  I could see he was trying to digest what I just told him for the next hour or so.   
like I said,  don't frighten and confuse the simple minded.  just leave them in their ignorant bliss.
