Sorry that the fact that most Houstonians aren't caricatures of the shit-kicking hillbillies you see in movies that scream "deep in the heart of texas" when someone whistles a tune. This is real life, not Pee Wee's big adventure.
I thought the fact that people filled up the studio, rocked out, were cool with each other and not crowd surfing all over the place was a reason to be happy you were in Houston. It was one of the best shows I've been to in a while. Perfect strangers walked up, threw out some hi-fives and hugs because they were so stoked they were seeing one of the greatest rock bands in history. I was proud to be from Houston at that point. Great show, great audience, great venue...great city.
