your local venue isn't giving the melvins a good offer or any one at all when they go out on their north american tour, if they get a good offer from a venue(like in vancouver) and it fits their tour schedule then they will play there.  bottom line, talk to the bookers of your local venue the next time a melvins tour rears its ugly head and suggest it.

I thought of that.  I'll mention it when I get the chance. Thanks.

Well, that would probably get you deported from Canada, and you wouldn't get to see them after all.
i don't have a square to spare. can't spare a square.

From what I've heard is both Patton and Buzz say  they like playing Canada they enjoy going there its just the offers they get only leave them breaking even.

I never missed a Melvins show in Toronto. Too bad they didn't play there more often.  I can only hope they reach Australia, if they play the Valley here in Brisbane I won't miss it for anything.

You should have went to the Buffalo show, fool. It was the best. Last time Melvins played here prior to that was May '95. You people in southern Ontario don't know how good you have it. Tons of bands play there in the clubs. Melvins are probably the ONLY exception. I can't believe they don't get good enough offers.

A few of my favorite bands/artists don't play Buffalo or upstate NY AT ALL, always Toronto, sometimes Cleveland then right to NYC instead - Claypool/Primus always hits TO every tour, last in Buffalo was '95. Patton hasn't played here as a headlining act since '92(with FNM), Buckethead has yet to play here.

thats cause the glaciers surrounding buffalo only melt enough for two months of travel.
Judy is mad.🤣

Not for long! Unless that hippy al gore has his way.

I've thought about driving down to buffalo or something like that but my friends are losers(ie not obssessed with the melvins like I).

anaconda

Dude, you and I will have to pull a 'road trip' to the next Melvins show within 100 miles.

ManWithNoName

you bring the razor blade I'll bring the speed!

I was just thinking about that the other day. I'm down.

Dr Geek

I have some mp3s that claim to be the Melvins in Winnipeg in 1985 I think, that's pretty far away from the border and pretty early in their career if that's true. I really wish they'd come to Toronto, I'd be there in a second.

anaconda

Those winnipeg 1985 mp3s are real, real cool
