ive never framed a poster because i'm neglectful and cheap. the only poster i have up right now is a melvins! [okay and maybe a fugazi] and it is most treasured. perhaps i will frame. anyone from the west coast know about this poster store on haight? they had melvins stuff when i was there. all of their things were framed nicely of course--- i saw such rare and shocking things there. no no its not that strange sights were seen- im just saying the amount of posters were overwhleming!
Rare and shocking things in San Francisco?  :-k   :P

  at least spend 10$ for a cheapo frame so the poster stays nice and doesn't get ripped.

ok, i'll dumpster something this weekend.
really.
:D  It really is worth it.  I wish I had the $$ to get really nice frame jobs done....

Was it more of a gallery than a shop?  I can't think of the name of the place either, but the one I'm thinking of was a gallery of rock art posters.

yeah- sort of! all the cool stuff seemed to be in a second room but that second room was also storefront- it was just visibly divided. all of this chatter made me realize this doesnt matter, i live in new york, and should be more aware of the environment that surrounds me. wow. sucks.

Yeah, more often than not, the poster is usually more expensive than the frame.
