This is a great topic. First thing that strikes me, is all the love for Altamont-Monkees Uncle. A lot more than is evident on the (newer) Altamont thread. I love the album, but is this an indication that it didn't have much "staying power"? The hypothesis that the Melvins Solo Albums can count for this list throws a monkey wrench into my list, so I've got to go up on the mountain and ponder this one.
