My favorite is Dales EP. I'm listening to it right now.
Dead Wipe is such a great song, I could play it over and over again. In fact that's what I do.
Everything was beautiful, and nothing hurt.

Centripetal core of soul sojourn the field vibrates to absolution. I climb toward the sun to breathe the universal.

Have you seen the bridge?  I ain't seen the bridge!  Where's that confounded bridge?!

I'm going to have to listen to them again.  It kind of bothered me that Joe's got slammed as being 'thrown together,' I'll have to check it out again...
if you CALL ME ON MY CELLY
i'll LET YOU RUB ME BELLY!

joe's is a little rough.  not much there besides some screwing around and noise loops.  maybe he meant it to be taken seriously but that is not necessarily an easy task.      for some reason I just expected a little more.

I say Dales is my favorite.  He's like a more talented Grohl.

The foo's first album was good.  Everything else has not impressed me.

Dales work with Porn, and playing guitar for BB live has been awesome.

And the songs on his record kick ass.

yup, I agree. I think their (or rather his) first cd is good and I still listen to it from time to time.
I guess I like it because grohl plays drums on that album and that's just what he's fated to do.

"Hands first flower"

That title is worth more than the music on the record
I have brought the great ball of crystal;
            Who can lift it?
Can you enter the great acorn of light?
But the beauty is not the madness
Tho' my errors and wrecks lie about me.
And I am not a demigod,
I cannot make it cohere.

i get the impression that dale's ep is held as the best of the series, and you can't argue with that. it's an amazing ep. hurter is one of my favorite songs of all time. flawless.

i also feel like the buzzo ep is wholly under appreciated - just from talking to people in real life. i've been listening to the buzzo ep a lot, the songs on it are really excellent. especially porg, it took me a long time before i really appreciated and loved it. also it's too bad buzzo didn't write skeeter because i love that track. also you have to give buzzo points for having a drawing of him puking on himself.

i love almost anything joe preston's done, the guy is awesome. bricklebrit is a great track. it does seem pretty rough, but i still enjoy it a lot. the drawings of joe's face are hilarious.

oh yeah, i knew that - but i'm not familiar at all with anything of KISS's. all i knew is that the KISS solo ep's existed >.<

Around this era, Buzz also had the KISS-Rocknrollover sticker on his Les Paul,
and they were playing KISS and Cars cover songs in the live set. You should
check out the Making Love Demos topic.
