Good interview, lots of interesting questions. Buzz saying that if stoner witch  was produced today, it would sound much better? I respectfully disagree. There's a sameness to the recent era, production wise, that wouldn't improve the S.W. album at all.

))))((((

It always makes me chuckle that Buzz constantly mispronounces the name Nietzsche.

I just find it a bit odd. Buzz has mentioned him a few times lately and seems to be an avid consumer of culture. To mispronounce one of the most revered and famous names in philosophy is a head scratcher. Maybe he just hasn't heard anyone else say the name before.

Is it safe to say that we all really like the production of Stoner Witch? Buzz says it's the most they ever have/ever will spend on a record, and to be fair, it sounds like it! It sounds really good!
Well, we'll always have "In the Air Tonight." Will that be your most enduring song?
You know, that song won't lie down. It just won't go away. I mean, there's a Mike Tyson moment associated with it now. It's just bizarre. I guess it has a bit of mystery, a lot of atmosphere, and the drums coming in, pinning people to the wall.

An interview with Joe Barresi about stoner witch somewhere floating around on youtube.

Apparently they watched a lot of porn.

Joe also remarked about how tight they played.

He goes over the broader strokes of that Masterpiece, I can't find it off the top.

There's also a small paperback that was put out about stoner witch, It's limited and was made by 'friends' of the band if you remember that? I have a copy around here somewheres...

It theorized the tracks and album layout was done like an 11 card celtic tarot card spread.

Personally the whole album could have just been the sound vomit at the beginning of Magic pig detective and I'd be happy with that.

Probably posted before. It's worth revisiting

18:44 That noisy solo he make to link Raise a Paw and Ever Since my Accident is so cool. This is like the ancestors of Honky, Hostile Ambiant Takeover, Pig of the roman empire and his recent noisy stuffs.

Also notice the goatee.
