I saw them five days before this gig, and my memory tells me they started with Mark playing guitar and Buzz playing bass for a couple (or more) songs. Has this video started a few songs in or had they changed the format? They were the "An Evening With The Melvins"  shows in the UK.

You are correct sir! Yeah I saw that "Evening With" tour over here ... 3 sets! 3 sets over there too Jules?

The flyer said they would play three sets. I remember two sets (no 'acoustic' one), first one quiet and unpredictable, with Mark and Buzz swapping guitars at the beginning, but then changing to normal later on; the second one sludgy and roaring and going on for ever.

we got 3 but none were "acoustic" ... the division of styles sounds 'bout the same but just divvied up into 3 sets ... Dale doing Cottonmouth one man band style was sweet ... I have memories of him leading the band in some (one?) Dale solo EP offering too ... wanna say Dead Wipe ... although I've been told my memory on that is corrupted ... most likely by drugs.

I'm hoping this is the tour where we get a live album with the Steven era. Sugar Daddy was how long ago? 6 or 7 years now?

good call! on a related note, i'm listening to the live at Third Man Rec right now, that one was a killer live recording with the bb guyz

cool, I noticed in a few recent interviews that Buzz seems a bit cold on having new stuff to promote. like  they wouldn't need to release new albums anymore at this point of their career.. is it just me?
