Melvins opened for Slayer?  Is that accurate?

Melvins played before Slayer at ATP at Alexandra Palace, but I wouldn't call it 'opening for'. As I remember it, it was Melvins then Sleep then Slayer.

"I never liked the Melvins, I never listened to the Melvins, I thought their music was Garbage"

"WAS" being the key word...this guy probably thinks the band didn't make it out of the fucking 90's

Is this professional Click-bait Trolling, or desperate for attention or something?  :?

He got at least one thing materially wrong. I forget what. I don't care enough to grant this video the play count of a rewatch.

It's basically the equivalent of taking a comedian's jokes at face value. This dude needs to a sense of humor. At least enough to tell when someone has their own injokes.

This guy Really makes my Ass cringe...ironically he *IS* in reality himself, a Total Melvin.

I was having a good laugh watching that video and was certain a punchline was coming at the end but the guy never broke 'character'.  That video is a pure click bait money grab.  Buzz hooked Nirvana up with Dave and the rest is history.  Dave should be forever indebted to Buzz.  Fuck Dave and his shit band.

^^^ Well, the only response I can think of to offer that fellow comes from a story I heard Mike Doughty tell on stage once; the punch line being along the effect of, "Hey, I don't come to the place where you work and slap the cock out of your mouth!". 'Nuff said.

That guy seems so bitter: He should lighten up so he can tell apart if someone is joking or not. And for the Dave G. story Buzz told I really had to laugh.

Three years since I`ve seen Melvins live, must i still feed on this memory from Malmø Sweden for yet another year?

Take a Scandinavia Tour next time in Europe, Melvins, where you include Bergen!

Soon... Melvins-Boris collab, of this... I am most certain.

..I'm still %110 certain there's a Jon spencer-Melvins already in the can.  :-$

Melvins Jon Spencer tribute to Rolling Stones maybe?

Boris/Melvins ... What would they do? Some cover of a cover... Plus "Boris." Maybe more old Judas Priest songs. Maybe 9ne original collab track. Or Melvins+Boris cover KISS perhaps?

This would make an awesome Melvins collab track. It's got Dale written all over it

It's a big departure from the original:
