   Listening right now.  I LOVE Vile Vermillion Vacancy.  I would murder to hear that live. 

On a side note.......I did get mine yesterday, but it was absolutely crushed.  the book corners were mashed, and so was the cd case.  Paper case, but crushed nonetheless.   Still, such a good listen. 

And Repulsion slays.  Like the first time I heard "At A Crawl"

When I read all the comments about the book and CD I can hardly wait any longer.
Still I'm gonna have to wait one more week I guess.

Yeah Idle, your favorite songs on there are mine as well. THAT'S how I TRY to play guitar, them's some good heavy riffs. So glad I am not a shredder. Actually, I'm not much of anything, but I know what I like to imitate!!  :lol:  These old tunes remind me that (the) MELVINS have always had that odd timing thing going on since the old days. Buzz and Dale sure were meant to play music together fo' sho'.

Exactly! It's too easy to classify it as punk rock, metal, hardcore or whatever because it's so much more than that. Progressive, jazzy, I have no idea, but every time I listen to GPT it's so fucking insane how they put that stuff all together. Really, it's crazy. And that as your first album.

same thing happened with mine. c'est la vie. i just read the tour diary portion of the book and it was a fun read. i'll take in the rest whenever i can...

I know that mine was shipped two days ago but it'll probably take a week or even more to arrive.

Apparently it's available from Amazon now, although it said ships in 6-10 days. Still haven't received mine either, BTW, but for some reason it's shipping to my sister and she's out of town this week.

Your local record stores should have them now. If they don't...ask them why as I'm sure they know who the Melvins are. If not, we just got another box of them from our big distributior (Mordam/Lumberjack). Direct orders from our site go out within 24 hours. All orders placed before 9/26 went out on 9/26. We've only gotten 2 copies back because people moved. Those have already been re-shipped to the new address. As of right now, we have about 37 copies here for mailorder. Brian will have a few when Double Negative heads out on their Canadian Tour later this month. The Melvins will get some in TX for their current tour.

Good luck tracking them down.

You can still get the last remaining copies of Brian's MANCHILD 1 from his web site: www.brianwalsby.com. It's thick. MANCHILD 2 is still available from www.bifocalmedia.com.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Brian's about to start doing limited runs of T shirt designs too. I've seen of few of the designs and I've already got dibbs on a few of them.
