No, no funions. I kinda wish I had seen that now, that's hilarious.

As far as I'm concerned HAT is the best kevin era album. I don't see it getting much better than that.

You're all a bunch of crybabies. We have fuckin' dual drummers and you want to give that all away for some noise? Fuck that shit! Besides, this is just the beginning(or so it seems) of the melvins/bb love fest.

cool review BTW

Dale is 10 drummers. That's all I need.

Here Comes The Waterworks is better than A Senile Animal. I love BB. I think they're are better band on their own.

some of us are bootlickers.

kinky.
aha, in the early nineties an ad campaign came out with beautiful women licking the floor.  I saved all the ads.  It was great.

i'm with manwithnoname on this one. i'm down with big melvins and enjoyed ASA quite a bit. sure dale's all the drummer you really need, but teamed up with coady you have that power doubled. after seeing this lineup in detroit two weeks ago, i'm intrigued with what it could pull off in the future.

Yes.  I'd like to see an album where dale's drumming is recorded to the right speaker, and Coady to the complete left.  Not sure how the complete sound would be, but..

Kind of in the Zaireeka vein......that'd be cool.

the last time they played with big business it was more exciting but these two shows were still in the realm of perfection.  eggnog was the first album i ever got form the melvins about 10 years ago and to finally hear at least hog leg was an emotional and brilliant experiance.  also with teeth, dwight fry, i couldn't contain myself...i usully don't sing at shows but i was screaming everyword.  the melvins, beautiful, discusting, but always evil...........

yea man.

they were darker with kevin and i really liked that.  i actually found myself longing for the creepier, brooding feeling i got at previous shows.  they are way more upbeat now.
i hope they don't completely shake the freak-side off.  including in songwriting.  their presence is very strange and evil sometimes, and the songwriting is at times unsettling in its near-experimental normalness.   i think you know what i mean.  it is less so on ASA...which frightens me a bit.

but it's the melvins!

much of ASA is like this.  it's not panned hard left and right, but there is seperation.
