I had to get my review in before I go to bed so everything is still fresh in my mind.  Not that i'd be able to sleep after such an incredible show!  Fourth time and it still feels and sounds like it's the first.

It was a long intermission between Big Biz and APOD, the Clubhouse always takes forever to get their shit together between sets.  But Coady kept having trouble with his snare drum, while it was getting fix Jared had Toshi break into a  blues song to pass the time.  That was the only thing that stood out from their set, which was still great of course...

Melvins - just as awesome as before - certain riffs and drum solo's still blow me away.  I thought Mechanical Bride was the best song tonight.  Dale and Coady drummed off and on til the very end.

The posters for tonights show weren't made, I guess the artist flaked.  That was the biggest disappointment of the night, but John made it up to me.  I bought the Walsby book too, but it will probably be a while before I read it.

I met up with Branch Breaker, and I saw Green Guy there, but I didn't get a chance to say Hello to him.  I also met a really cool dude - goes by the name Joe, AKA  Smellis' little brother!!!  Hopefully they'll post reviews of the show too...
Good night

See my ATP+London review for proof of the contrary. That weekend, the Friday was awesome, the Saturday even better, and the Monday insanely awesome!

Yeah Joe was there. Haven't had a chance to talk to him yet about the show. He lives in Gilbert AZ. Was he wearing his SNIVLEM shirt?

Yup, he was wearing the shirt, that's how I spotted him!  I hope he got home ok, there was a little mix up about him needing a ride, and I don't think I got to say goodbye to him.  But tell him that if he ever wants to check out another show to get in touch with me on here!

OK, I suck at keeping up to date with posting. But it is Halloween, so here you go.
MELVINS KICKED FUCKIN ASS!!! PERIOD! Second best show EVER!. First was first tour with Kevin at the Mason Jar (should have known things would go south with Kevin drinkin a beer on stage).

Anyways, didnt know or see anyone except my Melvins pal, Biker Ron. But eh, Hey fellow melvins fans.
Club house has great sound. Differences from last years show, was that Buzz's guitar wasnt turned up to 11. Which last year kinda droned out everyone else. Also about 1/2 the people. Mondays will be less people than a Saturday night. Crowed was cool.  Very cool night.

NO WAY! Another Melvins fan in Gilbert? I thought I had the only SVIVLEM shirt in Gilbert!?! Fantastic.
Bitch FUCK!

I saw that one differently (Friday + Sat awesome, Monday not as good) but i'm with you. Second night can be much better. It's the luck of the draw.
For your health!

This show was a bit better than Tucson. At least there was others I could blend in with that were rocking out.And didnt feel like a crazy idiot like everyone was looking at me like in Tucson. :)

The crowd seemed really tame in Tucson.  Where were you standing at?  I was standing in the windowsill, which was perfect for my short ass.
