Dale tells Danny Devito about working at the Aberdeen Taco Bell with Novoselic.  They were probably getting baked, watching Taxi, and eating stolen tacos and encheritos after work in those days.   

I loved that part

I worked at that same Taco Bell, and after reading "Come As You Are", I liked working there a little more.


As far as Pattor ruining the performance.....I disagree.  I see his role as vital as the rest of the bands.  He uses his voice as an instrument.  He uses pedals to tweak his voice like a guitar player would use a pedal to tweak his guitar sound.  During the Fantomas songs, he seemed like a present day Lawerence Welk, conducting the band, helping them keep the time changes and so on.  Letting them know when he was going to scream, and so on.  I seem to be in the minority on it, but I dug the hell out of this dvd.

i love this dvd.  My only complaint is that it seemed like buzz took a "backseat", and most of the shots of him were far away.  It would have been nice if the footage had some more emphasis on him, but it's all good.

Patton did a good job. I've had the expeience to see Fantomas live and you can really get into their shows.

I could write what Handz said because I agree with him 100%.

There goes my pretentious review, this commentary....       Danny Devito commentary > Theresa Screams. DVD itself is awesome. But I cant stop laughing,,,,,,,,, fantomas/melvins music background, devito speaking the troof...oh christ, tears in my eyes. so awesome.    Goddammit, this is so cool

I have seen Fantomas once. Zoot Suite, PDX 99. This DVD reminded me of that. Mellow people, mellow fans, mellow band, mellow.......but that goddamn commentrary......still laughing my balls off......lol.......best comedy of 08.

after watching the DVD i have to say it's not so bad...when you watch or listen to something where Mike Patton is involved you know from the beginning he will be the main actor,at least i was prepared and i liked the whole thing.especially Dale's walk when the band return on stage after the break
