Nice pic btw. :-s

yeah, yeah.   you read the disclaimer.  #-o

I think it was about $5 or so.    $10 at most.

nowadays... who knows.     I'd like to throw it up on ebay just to see what happens but theres no way I'm parting with it.

I'm curious what it'd go for as well. Never even heard of it til' now. By the time their tours ever get around
to Texas all the good shit is already gone, they should start in the middle of the U.S. next time, just to give
us a shot at the good merch. :(

glen

agreed.

they should split the merch up into phases and pull out another batch of shit at various points throughout the tour.

like you said.. all the cool stuff is gone about 4 or 5 shows in.

they didn't have the skulls (like the one Sweet got later in the tour) when I saw them.

I think sweet got a very "one-of-a-kind" item there.   although it was late in the evening and the budweisers were taking their toll I believe I discussed these with john raymond at the cleveland show.   as I recall they bought 2 at a halloween store. one was the dashboard ornament in their Budget rent-a-truck (which I observed with my own eyes).  the other they signed and sold just for the hell of it.    and our girl sweet was the lucky purchaser.  I'm just glad someone from around here got it.

They had one at the show I went to, it was sitting behind John at the booth, but it wasn't for sale as far as
I could tell. This one had horns on it, maybe it was the dashboard one.

So is the Your Choice Live pretty rare? I found my copy at my local used cd store for like 5 bucks.

Sweet has wily ways.  John couldn't resist, it was useless.

I'm not really a "completist" but I have most of the stuff they've put out.  I don't really collect any of the goodies/merch except for posters.  I have quite a few of those.

Yes, I was able to "Sweet" talk John into giving me the skull.  I did happen to spend about $75 on merch that night too.   But either way, I am undoubtedly grateful to John for giving me the skull.  The other one they had he ended up keeping for himself.

I'd have to call myself a completest, though I won't pay $1000 for a weird version of the trilogy.  I WILL and did pay $100 for an unopened copy of the trilogy at a show in September.

Favorites would be my posters, NHNT, Trilogy vinyl, and misc harder to find 7" records I've had for a long time.  I also used to have t shirts dating back to Bullhead, but I wore em so much they fell to shreds.

I try to buy everything I can when it comes out. I don't go after stuff I missed out on through ebay, because you'll pay too much. Melvins related collector stuff I have:

Trilogy set
H.A.T singles
Revolve/With Teeth 7"
With Yo Heart Not Yo Hands 7"
Boss Hoss/Patton Oswalt - Chunklet split 7"
NHNT softcover
H.A.T. Trick & Riddle book
Smash The State EP w/ 9 trk CD (had to pick one 7" at the show, I liked this artwork the best, CD covers the rest of the P.O.D. singles)
Never Breathe... LP
Sieg Howdy LP w/ bonus 7" (both not rare, and still in print at AT)
Pigs Of The Roman Empire LP
Mangled Demos '83  double 10"
Fantomas - Delirium Cordia LP
The End LP

$100 is reasonable for the trilogy, and considering recent prices, a really good deal.

Yea, I thought I got a deal on it.  Hard to find an opened copy on Ebay for less than $140-150
