I'd have to call myself a completest, though I won't pay $1000 for a weird version of the trilogy.  I WILL and did pay $100 for an unopened copy of the trilogy at a show in September.

Favorites would be my posters, NHNT, Trilogy vinyl, and misc harder to find 7" records I've had for a long time.  I also used to have t shirts dating back to Bullhead, but I wore em so much they fell to shreds.
$100 is reasonable for the trilogy, and considering recent prices, a really good deal.
Yea, I thought I got a deal on it.  Hard to find an opened copy on Ebay for less than $140-150

$100 is an amazing price. There are already copies of 'The End' going on ebay for more than that.

I forgot to add that really like to get a hold of the Tora Tora Tora set and one of the tooth paperweights, but they're rarely around.

I once sold COD for 20$, and Singles 1-12 for $80, stupid me.

i guess i'd have to say having the solo albums and prick and honky on vinyl are great to have. and also the melvins paper plate. that is a true original.

Well, we'll always have "In the Air Tonight." Will that be your most enduring song?
You know, that song won't lie down. It just won't go away. I mean, there's a Mike Tyson moment associated with it now. It's just bizarre. I guess it has a bit of mystery, a lot of atmosphere, and the drums coming in, pinning people to the wall.

Hello,

I'm new here and just wanted to say hello.  I was on the "nerd list" for years but it has been really quiet as of late...  You guys have one hell of a site here.  I wish I would have caught on sooner.

I remember they were selling that in Ipecac's online store for awhile.......and I never bought it. #-o
The trilogy vinyl too, I kept saying I'll get that next time I get paid, til' eventually they were gone, I
always do that. I don't buy any LPs though, cause I have no way to play them, that's one rule I have
, but that trilogy vinyl looked so nice.

I got me one a while ago.

i've liked the melvins for about a decade but only completed their main disco (studio albums + eps) a couple of years ago.  this is what i have as far as limited:

-hat singles
-neither here (which i didn't realize was limited until reading this thread)
-fantomas poster from philly 05
-fantomas/melt banana split cd
-apod single #1
-lustmord juggernaut
-smash the state
-end

the one i'm really upset about missing  is the patton oswalt split, because its my favorite band w/my favroite comedian of this generation.

this other thing that upstes me is that i don't have any tour posters because i generally don't like the nyc ones.  this year, i had to go to philly and the brooklyn poster was great.

norecess

I collect all their cd's I can get my hands on.

"next go-round in detroit you and I will have to hook up for a drinky-winky ambulance.  hows that sound?"

Glen, that sounds a fine idea ... so, outta the venues you've seen them in the area which do you like best?
I've always been partial to St. Andrew's a nice simple nonosense place to see a gig (thou I read an article
citing it as the deadliest/most violence addled club in America!). It reminds me alot of the place I grew
up seeing gigs at in Toronto ... the Masonic Temple. That last place, Smalls, was pretty cool too ...
the general 3 room layout was ridiclous ... but in the main room it was great!

Is Glen going to be allowed out of the house with two babies at home??
