I've had this on watch list since it was posted and couldn't agree more.  I have nothing Dale or Buzz signed in the 90s to compare to but certainly looks nothing like their signatures from the past couple years, and I smell fraud all around... 
It never got weird enough for me.

I'm looking for the Melvins/Redd Kross split as I unfortunately missed out due to a family emergency. I was really looking forward to that split so I'd love to get my hands on one. I have the following goodies for trade:

Melvins - Freak Punk LP (Skinner picture disc)
Melvins - The Bulls & The Bees 10" EP
Melvins - Joe Preston 12" EP (w/poster)
Melvins / Totimoshi - split 7" (/100 A/B side Pink & Purple Vinyl)
Melvins - Electric Flower 12" promo EP (Scion A/V release)
Melvins - With Yo' Heart, Not Yo' Hands 7" (black)

Also, hi all. I'm Brian. I've been reading this and the AmRep message board for years but only now finally signed up. I have many references on eBay and Discogs. I am also a very active member of a message board about records called Vinyl Collective. My screen name is the same on there and I have plenty of trader feedback on that site.

Out of curiosity, how many here could live without ever seeing a "Harold MELVIN & the Blue Notes" record again??!!

I've thought about mentioning him before.. I wish that I could search ebay for Melvins without sifting through all that crap.

The signatures look very legitimate to me for the time.  Especially Buzz and Dale. Tough Dale's signature has changed a little, Buzz just signs with the letter "B" now days.  I have an 8" x 10" B&W promo photo signed they signed for me around this time, if you would like to compare.  It's one of the very few things I ever (foolishly) got signed back in those days.  Who knew they would still be my favorite U.S. Band 25+ years on??!!  I also wish I would've picked up every single cut-out LP of "Stoner Witch," "Stag," and even "Houdini" when the Record Shops couldn't GIVE them away!!  Everyone wanted CDs (and NOT Melvins either)...
