Melvins documentary at the silent movie theater is the most ironic thing since Sonic Youth moved next to a deaf kid's school!

HAHAHA!!

The Silent Movie Theater / Cinefamily cinefamily.org is one of the coolest movie houses in Los Angels - perhaps the world. Back patio where they often have BBQ or potlucks, with booze drinking and weed smoking. The first four rows of the theater of black leather couches. Often have concerts there too. Saw Dale and Coady do a drum battle there a few years back.

At Cinefamily none the less? I've always wanted to go to that place.

I'm curious on how you got into contact with Shepard for the poster!?! I love him. That was a good move  :D

Shepard has been a fan of the band for a long time.  Bob got in contact with him and thats it really! It looks fantastic.

Ipecac is having a contest on their Facebook page to win a pair of tickets to the screening. Screening tickets ONLY.  Travel, lodging, and whatever else is up to you.

I own 3 posters for this movie and now none of them are the theatrical posters.

Idle, as a long time fan of this band, and as a stand up human being, I'm so happy that you were able to pull this off with a little help from your friends. Seriously, CONGRATS! I first saw fliers for this at GAMH in SF a few years ago, and at this point I can't wait to see the finished product.

Yes, hats off to the filmmakers and all involved for making this happen.

I saw it. Very good. Kevin parts are pretty touching. Stay classy, BBS.

))))((((

I know i've been seen to be a big detractor of this project as a whole, (which is not quite accurate) but i have to say what i've seen so far looks impressive. Those photos of the viewing in the movie theater alone are enough to convince a person that the outcome will be something worth checking out.
