What are the chances of seeing the Melvins catalog re-issued on vinyl? Specifically the Trilogy.

Very good chances.

Good question. Yes, they will. We are working on a top secret box set with a special treat included

Any plans on some new Fantomas? Also I'm just gonna pitch this idea here... convince Mike to work with Bohren and der Club of Gore ;)
IpecacRecordings
Bohren are easily one of my all time faves! There will be more Fantômas!

Sorry, no idea when there will be new Fantômas or Peeping Tom. No idea what the status of Crudo is. Neither does Mike.
looks like some good news!
kinda vague on if there will actually be any new Fantomas released....
edit: actually reading more, looks like there will most likely be new Fantomas at some point in the future according to Greg, just no concrete dates on when. great to hear it's pretty much happening eventually though!

so the Fantomas box set will be something like the Tomahawk box set maybe?
wonder what the surprise is going to be? some live stuff maybe?
Aren't the tracks on the Sugar Daddy / Fantomas split new Fantomas tracks? I thought Mike Gave them to Buzz as demos and Buzz said they were great let's just release them as they are.
I've always wanted Suspended Animation to be on vinyl, a fucking amazing album!

The last time Fantomas recorded anything was mid-2003 when they did DC & SA back to back.

That'd be great. I'd love an updated Yoshitomo Nara wallsized calendar.

Also solo Patton. So hardly Fantomas.

At the time Patton WAS Fantomas.
probably the greatest news i've heard all year,
besides the 2016 hilary vs jeb matchup
we'll be lucky if the lords slip us a nice slice of pie of christmas

It really is. I remember buying the "calendar edition" back in 2006 from a second hand CD store.
The chick behind the counter was really curious because of the packaging and asked what kind of music it was.
I literally paused for like 15 seconds before saying something like "cartoon cut and paste sound effects mixed with slayer"
Fantomas are too good to be on hiatus. Too good.
My Question is; Will the Re-issue LPs coming out change the Value of Originals down or way the fuck up even more
...
To re-phrase, How do you think the Re-issue Will affect the internet Value of Original Melvins Lps.

Look at the prices of the OPs of the recent Music On Vinyl Represses of Mars Volta / Temple Of The Dog / Mad Season etc. Prices of the OPs will most likely go down for a while.
If they re-release The Trilogy same style as the original pic disc set, I'm guessing it would be thru AmRep, and at least $100. If Ipecac did it, I'm thinking the 3 individual LPs in a fancy box like the Tomahawk one at a reasonable price.
I'd like to see the Boner albums re-released on vinyl more than anything. Don't know if Ipecac can do that. Still can't believe I scored Trilogy vinyl from Cinderblock around 10 yrs ago for $50, seeing what it goes for now. Will never part with it.

END PART 2

Brilliant! Who'd they open for? Creed? I'm glad that I got to see them twice. Fantomas, not creed!
They opened for Tool, who have some of the dumbest fans I've ever seen in a live setting.

I payed $50 for a scalped ticket to see the Melvins open for Tool in '98. I had loved Tool, before they kicked Paul out. I got to see them 3 times with Paul, 1 time with Justin. I was done. So I walk around the corner to enter the Phoenix Convention Center, there were thousands of fans in line. They were being searched by people too slow and stupid to work for the TSA. I got to see the last ten minutes of the Melvins, but only because I knew a DJ from the local butt rocker station who was in a van out front. I can see your point about some Tool fans. :x
I had a dream of digging through the Melvins section at my record stores
and seeing a record design i've never seen before
maybe this is a spiritual vision..
The next Fantomas will be completely recorded and performed using midi instruments (midi guitar, midi bass and midi drums). These will be used to trigger crazy sounds and the music will be unlike anything anyone has ever heard or experienced before.
This information is from a very trusted source.

No surprise. Patton's hinted at this for years now. Seeing how his last several sdtk recordings were recorded the same way, it makes sense he'll go this route with Fantomas. I say it'll either be beyond great, or a total dud. No in between.
This could be Fantomas' equivalent to this beauty:
