No one else seemed to have started a thread on this.... so here goes...
I was at the Melvins show in Haarlem last night at the Patronaat in Haarlem. A lot of firsts... I've never seen the Melvins, never been to the Patronaat and never been to Haarlem.
The show was pretty damn phenominal. The mirror image drum thing works really well - although I still feel like I've never seen Dale Crover live, cos I never saw him solo which is a shame.

Awesome photos. Some questions:
The Cathedral at the begining, was that near the venue?
Looks like Karolina enjoyed the show too, your woman?
What the fuck was Jarad wearing that night? A tablecloth?
The same orange shoelaces as Hot Sauce I see.
Looks like a load of fun and thanks for the pics.
BTW you need an new avatar for your flickr site besides the Louvre male ass cheeks.
There's some karma for you virgin.
There's two cathedrals... on in Amsterdam - St. Nicolaas and one in Haarlem - st. BavoKerk....
Karolina is indeed my woman.... and a far bigger melvins fan than I.
Jared appeared to have hair in the style of an hasidic jew... he was wearing some bizarre tabecloth thing....
Thanks for taking the time to look at the photos....
The ass stays!!!!!!!!
i left a comment on the set list photo.
what are those "titles"? those aren't melvins songs.
it's early in the morning for me...if the answer to this is obvious feel free to be sarcastic

great pics! they added video to the performance too! damn them! :D
I wasn't really paying attention, but there was various video on the left - sometimes melvins related - other times I wasn't sure.. On the right was a constantly changing projection of melvins concert posters from over the years which was pretty cool...
cool pics furby, thanky!
take a look at this:

if that ain't jolly old timmy moss on the vid screen......
but doesn't it look like a composite police drawing of a suspected criminal? or no?
I think thats a Goodtimes
That's just the shroud of turin.
It was not very busy there. In koln and tilburg there was much more audience.
It looked like a police mug shot of Timmy until I realized the rectangle at the bottom was part of Buzz's gear .
Geez Grim, put on your glasses! :P

Almost like watching a film when you put the slideshow with 1 second interval, super duper fur!

I find it's very very often like that in the Netherlands(Certainly in the Amsterdam area, I don't know about Tilburg). People tend to be a wee bit more chilled, and subdued, which is really good, cos my girlfriend is very short and concerts can be really tough for her to see. We were basically at Buzz' feet the whole night, there were a couple of people oding freak out dancing, but otherwise, just a lot of bug hairy men watching with grim faces...
This was a really great gig imo, I've only ever been to UK gigs, but this was far better ( i much prefer the smaller crowd vibe),
I was also stood at Buzz's feet (with the Melvins/Fantoma's T on), to actually get that close was amazing, and i was awe struck by Coady's drumming esp as Big Biz (who I'm also a big fan of).
I had tickets to Tilburg but my back went (on the train there) and i was unable to stand up for long with out being in a fair amount of pain so decided to sit that one out :(
Look forward to you guys playing again in the Netherlands, awesome stuff 8)

I so wanted it, but i saw security in the corner earlier and chickened out
