Haarlem, Patronaat, 21.04.07

No one else seemed to have started a thread on this.... so here goes...

I was at the Melvins show in Haarlem last night at the Patronaat in Haarlem. A lot of firsts... I've never seen the Melvins, never been to the Patronaat and never been to Haarlem.

The show was pretty damn phenominal. The mirror image drum thing works really well - although I still feel like I've never seen Dale Crover live, cos I never saw him solo which is a shame.

The Cathedral at the begining, was that near the venue?

Looks like Karolina enjoyed the show too, your woman?

What the fuck was Jarad wearing that night? A tablecloth?

The same orange shoelaces as Hot Sauce I see.

There's two cathedrals... on in Amsterdam - St. Nicolaas and one in Haarlem - st. BavoKerk....

Karolina is indeed my woman.... and a far bigger melvins fan than I.

Jared appeared to have hair in the style of an hasidic jew... he was wearing some bizarre tabecloth thing....

I wasn't really paying attention, but there was various video on the left - sometimes melvins related - other times I wasn't sure.. On the right was a constantly changing projection of melvins concert posters from over the years which was pretty cool...

It was not very busy there. In koln and tilburg there was much more audience.
