missed show since law school number 3......eat my fuck x( BUT! I hope it is rad :)
Also melvins is gay cuz some of their songs are just noise, i tell you this so you all don't buy albums and find out only one two songs is good on them.

PS A full song by song setlist would be much appreciated. I can at least burn myself a disc or two of the set to make going to work more pleasant. 8)

Just got home.  I think tonight was the best of the shows I've seen in the last 10 days.

Oh, and the great news.  There was a 4 camera setup doing proshot for Ipecac.  They filmed it all.  Expect a Melvins live dvd in the future!  I mean, that is what you would expect to expect, right?  EDIT**  This thing was filmed, but it surely isn't a for sure thing.  BUT, it was filmed.  I'll leave the guessery up to you.

They had two static cams, and two roamers.  One guy stayed pretty much on Dale and Mike all night.  Ehren, from Jackass, was one of the guys shooting.  No Jackassery, just Melvins.  I saw him up front and on the stage many times getting closeups.

As for the show itself, it was pretty much the same except for Dales brother ( That's what they said anyway) came out for Spread Eagle Beagle.  The crowd tonight was also MUCH livelier than NY, Boston, or Seattle.  There were some problems all night it seemed with Dales kit.  He adjusted the snare a lot during songs, and Moss had to come out to fix one of the cymbal stands it looked like.

The poster was gorgeous as well.

Here's a few pics my gf took.  Not the best, but it was a shitty camera.

I'll post some more pics soon.

Everything was beautiful, and nothing hurt.

Centripetal core of soul sojourn the field vibrates to absolution. I climb toward the sun to breathe the universal.

Have you seen the bridge?  I ain't seen the bridge!  Where's that confounded bridge?!

Dr.Benway

If the Melvins were going to put out a live DVD a 25th anny. show would be a good reason(part of the box set?)  I hope so for the sake of us poor slobs that can only read about how good it's all been.  Along with all the other live stuff we've missed over the years(I can't for the life of me figure out how those torrents work and youtube clips are just a tease).

i forgot one of my homies does booking at the roseland. i think. i might have heard wrong.
Judy is mad.🤣

Definitely one of the best performances I've seen (both in terms of setlist and energy).
I loved hearing Black Bock live for the first time.
Buzz seemed to be in a really jovial mood and thanked the crowd multiple times.

I noticed during Lizzy Buzz changed the lyrics to, "Elvis had a daughter, and then he died on the Toilet". Also Sky Pup had completely different lyrics as well.
Loved the fact there were no openers, barely any breaks and as always no encore.
Just 2 hours straight of pure Melvins bliss.

Oh by the way, did anyone recognize the third drummer on Spread Eagle Beagle?

Joe Plummer from Modest Mouse.

I think he lives in Portland.
"I actually checked to make sure I wasn't posting balls."  (IDLEHANZ)

".PS: please,  allow me to reitterate...  dale crover = super human " (GLEN)

"If the world is going to end on Saturday I might as well hold in my shit and save a few bucks on Shit-Paper." (GRIM)

ANACONDA:   All-around genuine motherfucker.

I thought they said "Ed Crover"

I didn't think he looked much like a Crover.

Sky Pup had completely different lyrics as well.

I like how they mess around with Sky Pup's lyrics. About 2 years ago Melvins (duo) played right after Circle Jerks' set, so there were a bunch of punks in the audience. During Sky Pup some of the lyrics were changed to lyrics  that poked fun at the punk scene. It was pretty hilarious, especially since I was with a bunch of punk rockers.
