That is one damn good collection of early stuff. For anyone who wants to check out Pere Ubu, it's full of some of their best songs and it's cheap to buy.

Best band from Cleveland ever, one of the top 3 shows I saw this year. I've got that and Modern Dance, and the recent ones  - St. Arkansas + Why I Hate Women which are great. Just picked up the official live '76 boot "The Shape Of Things"  too which is a great show but very lo-fi.
I don't know about their '80s/'90s stuff. What I've heard sounds too "pop" to me. I've got to get New Picnic Time, and Dub Housing next.

Today when XTC's "Travels in Nihilon" came up in shuffle, it occurred to me that Dale (+Coady) could work out some massive drumming for this already repetitive and hypnotic song. Add some pumping bass from Jared and inventive guitar play from Buzz and...
well that definitely would lead somewhere.
