Biafra kills the melvins/ worst concert ever seen

I saw the concert in Berlin last night!

It was awfull!

First of all Fantomas did a great job, and the drummer was unbelievable
BUT...

Then I saw the worst!

Jelly-head Biafra went on stage!I was looking forwart to see Melvins playing live but now I can say there was no Melvins on stage!!!
It was a fat faghead trying to earn some money with absolute bullshit!
And belive it or not he brought his new band(if you can call it a band)formaly known as THE MELVINS!
I AM A BIG FAN OF THE MELVINS but it seems like they got lost in Biafras`asshole!

Are the apartments in Hollywood that expensive that the Melvins had
to earn money with every shit?
God damm it, they should get off this asshole Biafra and start beeing the Melvins again!The band that I love most!!!

Jelvins were definetely the worst this evening. Jello pissed me off. The people who liked Jello pissed me off. Even the Roadie on stage was pissed off by Jello. The poor guy. He had to clean the stage everytime, when this old man threw water around. Because Jello could have slipped on it.

to be honest with you. i thought the jelvins cd was very weak. the only descent song is yuppie cadillac. the melvins didn't put shit into it. generic riffs and jello just doesn't seem to have it anymore.

honestly, during the concert when I saw the Jelvins I thought this is the end
of everything!
I felt like the coolest band on planet earth turnt into a piece of boring shit!
Seeing this is as boring as watching trees growing!
If they keep on doing such nonsense I promise the next gig they play before
a concert of good charlotte!

If "Jelly" would have wanted earn money with every shit, he had'nd object the reunion of the dead kennedys and such things like selling "holiday in cambodia" for a LEVIS advertising spot.

hello guys,
i saw the jelvins show on the 21. in Saarbruecken i was really diassapoint.
Firts of all we drive 450 Kilometers from bavaria in my little,old Fiat Uno (without Airconditioner). Than we must paid 26 Euros for a Ticket. 26EUROS. FUCK. (i was yesterday in Lindau and paid for Misfits Concert only 15 Euros!)
Fantomas was real good. They play loud and weird. But than come the Jelvins. Jello run over stage, dressed as a american Policeman, and made stupid faces. Than he always talk about the american and german Polition.
no one really understands what he say but the crowd are screaming when he say. Fuck Bush or everything else. At the end my friend an i hoped that the Melvins played 2 or 3 melvinssongs without Jello, but no way.
In the next moring i checked out some Recordsstore in Saarbruecken and in one I meet Jello. He bought nearly 15 LPs over 150 Euro. He bought GermanPunkrock, Jazz and other bullshit.
Im sure i never go to a jelvins concert again.

hello german folks,
unfortunately, I haven't seen the concert. But I like the Jelvins album and I like Jello.
It's not my favorite melvins album, but I think, it's the best thing jello did after the dead kennedys.

I can respect, if someone don't like the album, or this gig.
Maybe his phatomime-like acting, dramaticaly singing, and politicaly lyrics is not everyones cup of tea, but he did that since the dead kennedys and it's one thing that makes him special

Anyway, I haven't seen the concert and maybe I would'nt have liked it for some reasons too. But that's no reason arguing that weak, like: "If I see Biafra walking around in front of my car I would not even know the word breaks!!! I would try a burn-out on his fuckin`face! I HATE BIAFRA AND EVERYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH HIM!!!

Don't get me wrong. It doesn't hurt me, but I find it very weak and immature.

Allright, I have found many of the previous posts pretty damn funny in reference to not liking Biafra, blah, blah, blah. BUT, I have to say that I saw the Melvins and Biafra two nights in a row in Seattle over New Years 2005. The show KICKED MAJOR ASS. I know this will sound disturbing to you naysayers out there, and I admit that I am NOT a big Jello fan. BUT, the shows were very good and they played HARD. I have been following the Melvins since '85 and I have to say that they always change and have created many different kinds of music over the years, some of which has not been exactly popular, BUT ironically THAT music seems to be the music most favored by the members of the band. Everyone has their own musical tastes and I CERTAINLY understand why you might think Jello is screwing around with your favorite band where he shouldn't belong. Every band has bad nights for one reason or another, but the Biafra Melvins shows I saw were sweet. David Scott Stone and Adam Jones were there backing up Buzzo. Dale was as great as ever, I don't think he has ever had a bad show, he would play his heart out even if the crowd was 20 people. I've seen it. This band is the fucking greatest and I hope they find a new bassist who will bring them to the next chapter. AND Yeah I do prefer the Melvins themselves, non-colloborating; but WTF    ........enough of my bullcrap.

Okay my facts why I hate Jello!!

the sound of his voice is making me sick
his political ambitions-everyone can have one- and his doing to make everyone thinking the same are pissing me off!
Sorry but I think political speeches doesn`t belong to a melvins concert!!
If I would hear some I go to see U2!
The first song sounded like the last song and everything between!!!It was a boring punk-concert!
Jello was acting around like an idiot and his movement reminds me of Joe Cocker and Joe definetly doesn`t belong to a Melvins concert!

Besides the stupid doings of Jellyhead nothing makes me think I`m watching
a concert! No Melvin seems to be in the music! I was watching a worse one-man-show with some backround-musicans that definetly suck!!!

Oh and by the way I`m 5 years old drove with 9 hummers at once to a concert at pm 9 o
