Drove from MPLS to Fargo on the way home to Bismarck. Great turn out. Merch Table was swarmed, as always. dwr budr bought a copy of the Bootlicker Letterpress. However, upon furthur inspection, he received a Freak Puke album inside. Outside says Bootlicker, but also has Freak Puke on it. Weird but uber cool. I snagged a Bulls & Bees vinyl, along with Freak Puke and 12 Singles letterpress. Setlist was the same as Missoula. Buzz thanked everyone for coming, and mentioned how terrible Alaska was. Once again too many Drunks, not enough respect. First Melvins show I've seen in my home state. Hopefully many more to come.

Will Post Pics in upcoming days

just got back to winnipeg from this show.

what a bunch of fucking pros. the band was tight, on point. sound was almost pure in this little venue, at least from where i was in the middle/back (unless i leaned down, thank god i'm not short). impressed they've maintained this level of execution even 14 shows in.

roadbull,
as you've pointed out, too little respect. way too many idiots (girlfriends/boyfriends) yammering at the back through the whole frigging show.

did you see some dude with spikey/fluffy hair and a tara mcpherson shirt loading up at the merch table early on?

was lucky enough to blow my hard earned money on the following:
-freak puke letterpress
-bootlicker letterpress (question: anyone know why this one isn't numbered? but indicates limited edition... also, doesn't contain the booklet strangely, great art though, and i did get the actual disc)
-singles letterpress
-bulls&bees 10"
-1983 10"
-freak puke t-shirt
-sugar daddy live 12" split w/ midwest hardcore bands
-sugar daddy live 12" split w/ butthole surfers

thrilled with the merch selection, only wish i hadn't been too late for a bulls&bees cd

have they been doing the "bouncing vocals" thing on worm farm waltz all tour anyone? wasn't like this in winnipeg in july. cool though.

enjoyed buzz's disparaging remarks about alaska, although i have no problem with the place
"basically every city in the continental U.S. is a Shangri-la compared to Alaska"
and "just remember, no matter how bad you think your life is, it could be happening in Alaska"

or something like that. i didn't sleep

caffeine's run out, time to crash.

They did do the alternating vocals in Missoula show #5.
