For those of you going to the show on March 8th in Kansas City, Windhand was just added to do a free midnight show following Buzz.  If you haven't seen them, this is a great time to do so.

So I just got to sit down and listen to the 10". Here's my review...

If I had to review this record with one simple statement it would be, "I love the sound of that Buzz", which can take on several meanings. The first is the slight buzz of the strings hitting the frets that you can hear if you listen closely to a single guitar track. The reason for this is that buzz rips it the same as he would an electric guitar! Buzz is never a man to hold back, he always brings it no matter what case. The second meaning to my statement is the haunting sound of Osborne's voice. It has always been a key element in why I like the Melvins and continues to be so even more on this release. Toshi  also did a masterful job on production doubling up the guitars and adding great effects to the vocals. The bottom line is that if you like Buzz you will like this record.Even though its acoustic, it still goes to 11.

Great review! I get what you're saying. The track I've heard so far sounds incredible.  I'll just have to wait for the CD.

I hope some of these get taped!

If anyone is able to grab an extra 10" for me, I'd really appreciate it!

Hey, bitches. Here's my splatter, number 001 out of 100. Don't expect to see any of these til the tour lands at Grumpy's.
400 Tri-colored, making 500 in all.

May the force be with you

Word is that there aren't any of these at Grumpys tonight either.

homeless_dad

It's probably due to the fact that NO ONE is interested in the purchase.
Is there even a market for rare Melvins vinyl??
The answer is no.
:bs:
Is Ian back yet??

Anyone going to one of the upcoming shows that would like to help me out? I'm looking to get the splatter /100 variant of the acoustic Buzzo 10" and the haze version of the NYE 7". I have a test pressing of the Billy Fish Alive flexi that I can offer as a trade for the help, If anyone has any interest, send me a message and we can work out the details.
