GRAYFROOOOOOOH! :x

You're not my mother!!!
Yes. I'm very aware of that fact! Praise the Lord! I'm just surprised by the lack of respect for a musician who seeks out Dale Crover ( of the Melvins) to help with his songwriting and feature his drumming on his albums. That should count for something around here. At least a cup of coffee. :-s

Um, Thanks. (Cut to next scene: an Anaconda with what looks to be a six foot tall man, in his belly).

 got the record today! With the download for sebadoh. I really like that album (defend yrself). We should get a thread going about them. Now I need to set up that POS record player that I took from my Mom. It's Hew Time! Am I actually the first person to say that?

  SEBA...
nice! According to wiki, Lou named the band after some bullshit lyric that he was always singing. And that's him on the cover of Bakesale ( baby reaching into toilet). I like them. I think that in a lot of ways they're like the Melvins. In a lot of ways, not so much. I don't really care if Grayfro hates them. Just can't wait to see his next kickass avatar!  :P

One of the funnest Melvins shows I've seen was when Folk Implosion was opening for them. Lou and I think it was Imaad came out in their underwear and jumped on Buzz during their last song. It was hilarious to see the look on Buzz's face. You could tell right then that they were all old friends. It was a great show and if I remember right Dale played with FI on their last song of the set. I can't remember the song though, some classic rock song.
edit*- It was "We're An American Band".

I got some delicious grape-flavoured laffy taffy in the mail the other day.

Oh yeah, there was some record in there too.

I found the record to be quite jammy, and not atonal at all. It reminds me of Jerry Garcia's first solo album, Hooteroll? , and that record had about a dozen players (including a brass section ).

Yeah, didn't you know Dale & Coady are closet Dead fans? They pass the bong around and listen deeply to Bill & Mickey's 40 min drum jams.
Seriously, this LP is sort of jam-centric, but did not remind me of The Dead at all, and I used to own that Garcia CD. Listening to Hew Time made me want to throw on some live King Crimson Double Trio. Other than Dale/Coady, Bruford/Mastellotto are the greatest dual drum lineup.
