Who's talking in this?  Buzz, the drunk(?) guy (Hugh?), and someone else?  I can't tell if it's Dale or not.

     Buzz's laugh is hilarious, even back then. I wonder if this is mentioned in Neither Here Nor There somewhere.

When Buzz asks him, "Do you like our band?", he replies that he does and that he's "not fooling, neither". It sounds like Dale who then says, "Alright!"

The "If you want to, you can just hang onto them", at 12:23 sounds like Dale, too!

I kinda assumed it was the whole band there at the time with "Hugh". The first few times I heard this around a minute in it sounds like they're kicking a door down and just chilling somewhere abandoned. "I won't tell anybody" only added to it.

I've always assumed Matt was in on the conversation.   

I haven't heard that in a long while but I seem to remember someone making sounds from a Looney Toons episode where Daffy Duck makes an egg appear in his hand.  That and sounds of a lawnmower in the background. 

I imagine Hugh was a local drunk/homeless dude/mentally unstable (take your pick) individual from Grays who wandered the town aimlessly.  Seems like everywhere I've lived there has been a guy like that.

That Sounds like Matt to me doing the Pee-oo-whoop* thing, he seems like he had the most ants in his pants of the three of them, If you listen to the Mangled demos intro by the elks lodge they introduce The guys, and matts got a distincive tone in his voice, and Buzz..well, These tapes sound just like a lot of my old band tapes, Ive spent enough time listening to Lo-fi tape that Im pretty adjusted aurally to the frequency response and Im mentally tuned into Buzzos voice and hone in on it well enough now, Dale has a pretty normal regular guys tone in his voice, so hes normally easy to pick out from Buzz or anyone else.. Im familiar with cheap tape recorder sound. Buzz is pretty much the sly one who is slightly babying the guy *hugh* and asking a bunch of Lead-on Questions to get some funny responses from him and mess with him while hes tripping.

I get more out of the conversation at the end of the mangled demos, talking more about work and how Osbourne got fired etc.. and they were going to cut down his hours and Buzzo has the mature reply of;

Anyway I met a guy on PCP once in my old town, and he sounded EXACTLY like the guy on this tape, except made a little more sense the way he explained how things are.

He was talking about the clouds or something how like he felt like he was controlling them with his mood or something.
