Very happy for you. The first time I saw the Melvins, they were opening for L7 ('94).
Don't know if a young feller such as yourself has ever heard of them.
Melvins fan since then. L- who?!  :P

Sadly, I had to fly to Indiana for a funeral and will be missing this show. Have fun everyone!
Sorry to hear that; I get the impression you don't miss many Seattle shows.

This will be #3 in 10 years.

My 11th Melvins show and it's probably one of the best I've seen. The openeing band Les Butcherettes weren't too bad. Lots of energy and the drummer played barefoot. Set list was pretty much the same as the Sacramento show with the addition of "Moving to Florida" which sounded amazing! Glad that they brought the Wipers cover back into the set. That's one of the reasons I got into the Wipers. At the end of the Pop-O-Pies cover some kid jumped onstage and took Dales set list while they were finishing the song. I pretty much broke the bank at the merch booth. Picked up the Crover single, Melvins/HepaTitus split, the Night Goat reissue, and the glow in the dark Crankenstein 10". Would've picked up the Altamont stuff and show poster if I had the cash. They also had an autographed edition of "This Machine Kills Artists"

Le Butcherettes are amazing. If you're one of those that likes to mill about or show up late, do yourself a favor and get there in time to get up front for them.

I've never seen an opening act command so much attention and absolutely own the stage the way they do.

Their records are awesome.  The live show is just insane. They remind me of the first time I saw Monotonix. Beautiful unpredictable energy.

Don't miss them.

Its been a LONG time since I've seen a Melvins crowd react to an opening band like people have reacted to them.

That kid that hopped up and grabbed the setlist was immediately nabbed.  It was a brazen move, but he didn't get far.  Security pulled him back out of the crowd.  Stay the fuck off the stage.

How many members did they have? I'm only seeing pictures of Teri and Lia on drums.

I'll echo Idle's sentiments about Les Butcharettes, they fucking KILLED it. Lia is an absolutely amazing drummer, she had me completely hypnotized. Definitely worth getting to the show early for!
