To me Karp is pretty big rip off of the melvins. But if you havent heard Karp, dont get me wrong. They fucking rule. download or buy Self Titled LP. It is one great fucking record. Imthinking if you like the melvins you'll deffinately like KARP.

for those un-aware, Joe Preston joined the bassist and drummer for Karp in the the band The Whip. He Played guitar.

Man, I loved The Whip!  Got to see them twice and was blown away both times.  Such a bummer when Scott died.  Gonna have to dig out their 7 inch later.  Haven't listened to it in years.

Thread of the decade! This shit is 10 years old! That's crazy . Ten fucking years... I first joined in October of '03. So every time I see the title to this thread I get confused and a bit frightened. I'm like, "Wait...ARMO/Ron has been here forever!?".
