This gig Farkin rocked they played these songs pretty much in this order:

Queen
Oven
Going Blind
Green manalishi
The Bit
Revolve/hornbearer/brain centre at whipples
Fool, Meddling Idiot
Black Stooges
With Teeth
Night Goat
Shevil

That's all i can remember (think they played more) the set was about 70 mins long according to a mate who redcorded it and the order is a bit out.

Buzz just had one jcm 800 marshall head and one quaddie. Kevin had a big Ampeg head and Fridge, DAles' kit seemed smaller than usual.

Buzz had two pedals only. A tuner and i think a phaser. No RAT tonight.
Kevin had his usual array of gear and a fire alarm on top of his amphead.
Was an absolute spin out seeing them in such a small place.
good one fellas

This was a great show. Fully killer style old skool.

Now there's some guy called "eddie" who's registered. Great. Nice and confusing.

Hey, haven't posted anything for a while but been reading those digests....
I went and saw two Melvins shows last week in Melbourne, one was the Melvins own show at a little bar (holds about 300) in the city called Ding Dong Lounge. It was a great show; I've seen them every other time they have been out here and this show seemed a lot more casual/fun than the others I have seen. They opened with Queen, then Oven then Going Blind, then some stuff off HAT.  They played about 4 songs from Stoner Witch, a couple from Houdini (Going Blind and Night Goat) and some from the trilogy. Did the opener from Stag too, and the last song from Lysol (sorry, don't know my song titles...). They played a great version of Green Manalishi, and did one of the quiet songs from bootlicker. It was real hot and sweaty in there but fantastic to see the Melvins in such a little venue, they seemed to really enjoy it.
I went along to the Geek Show the next night at the Palace, a bigger place (about 2000) with a bigger pa, which was good after the tiny one the night before.
This show blew me away, they played pretty the same songs mixed up a bit (Patton also did a coupla songs with 'em), but after the last song from the night before they played the whole 15 minute thing that is side one of Lysol, big guitar intro and all. It was that album that introduced me to the Melvins and I will die happy after seeing it live, never thought I would! Didn't see Fantomas and not really a Tomahawk fan, although I have tried hard to like 'em.
Anyway, hope the Melvins make it back out here again, they are yet to disappoint...

Cheers,

Cameron

You're fucking lucky, I would love to hear Lysol live...
