FYI to you OFF! fans- the tracks are live and are KILLER takes on the tunes. The sound quality isn't pristine (about the sam as the mudhoney split) but it's good for a live record and the band sounds great.

This was a dream split for me because Melvins and OFF! are basically my two favorite active bands.

Off! are properly great. If we were to take the last few Melvins releases and stack them up against their discography, Melvins wouldn't even register!

Someone wasn't there to see how awesome their live show on NYE was.  Easily the best set of the night and competition from Redd Kross and Off! was stiff...and yes that includes a song or two off of the last few albums.

I missed out on this when it came out, and I really just want to hear the songs. I know Rough Democracy is on youtube and it sounds GREAT, but is there any way I can feast my ears on Dark Brown Teeth? Why don't they just release all the tracks on youtube? Since there's no longer a way to purchase these tracks legally, throw em up on youtube and get some ad revenue. You're not combating piracy, you're withholding music from your audience! Argh! The Melvins make it hard to be a fan. Especially if you have a job and can't refresh amrep 24/7
