There's an ongoing debate here about our Confederate statues. Some people want them torn down, others want more context or more diverse statues put up.

I think you should tear them all down and put up 90-foot high statues of Malcolm X. and Ice Cube. I'm totally fine with that. I'm in. Or a hologram of Tupac that's constantly turned on.

Im intrigued by the fact he keeps mentioning 'Reflections In A Golden Eye' as a John Huston title they could have used. I know he's saying that as an example but it does make me wonder if they really are going to use it for an album (or song) soon.

Wow, I know Steven is a serious motherfucker on the bass and it is great to hear Buzz talk him up like that. It is also great to hear Buzz acknowledge that EVERY single bass player was a badass and contributed in a way that no other could have. Steven is a keeper. He will see this thing through the end.

It would be cool to see a bassist remain in the position for a good length of time. Not that some of the others haven't of course, but just to see how things progress. It would be weird to think ONE person could now stay with the band indefinitely until the wheels fall off. I know Buzz said it's not a case of a revolving door policy, but personally having got used to that occurrence, i'd possibly like to see another new bassist perhaps after at least another 3 or so Steve albums. Basically im in no rush to see him leave which is a good thing i guess.

I feel that has run it's course now. No disrespect intended but i don't want them back in Melvins. Well, not in a recording sense anyway. I want the band to move on with Steven and see what that brings. Although i do think it would be cool for just Coady to appear onstage with them occasionally.

Melvins as a three-piece with Steve, is a force live and is also a charismatic, intelligent and friendly fella. I believe those three has little or nor friction on tour, just good fun.

It will be interesting to see what happens when Off! decide to tour more. I think they are currently writing a new record. Perhaps Pinkus will take over on bass for a while if they don't do a Melvins and Off! tour.

Yeah I know it's pretty much done when it was said Jared was taking maternity leave from the Melvins I knew it was over. Only just listened to that The Bulls & The Bees again last week it kills me, greatness on that EP.

I would absolutely loooove a Melvins/OFF tour. I wish I had flown out to those Redd Kross/OFF/Melvins shows for new years.

Sure. I'd like to see that. Although the live shows of such a pairing could be interesting. Buzz not wanting to disrupt the sets "art performance" with chatter, while Keith Morris goes off on 20 minute monologues between songs!
