Colonel Cheese

Anybody know where to listen to the music on that 7"? Can't find it anywhere that I can usually find that stuff.

From what I read, you can just play the Smash the State EP or any Halo of Flies record and you'll be contented.

I honestly can't recall if I ever heard it myself.

This may sound harsh towards Haze which I don't intend, but this release is more or less a hoodwink like 'Shit Sandwich' from roughly the same era.

Heh.... welll, okay... it's no "Prick", but still...!

I'm still convinced Prick has an inside meaning about the ambitions of a former bass player. But that's just my speculation.

Yeah, but hey, I think we've all learned the eBay drill by now....

you place your bid.....

...and in the last 3 seconds of the auction, someone shoots a snipe bid, so no one has a chance to counter-bid.

Point being, if I'm I'm going to bid, I might as well wait 'til the very last second, and have a whomping bid ready to throw down.

eBay kind of fucked up when they didn't just embrace snipe bidding a evade ago. It was only seen as a problem. Snipe bidding means the system gets less bids overall. People spend less and don't tend to bid on multiple auctions as much. Public bids drive up prices and snipe bidding likely leads to lower conversion. It also takes the emotional fervor out of the ongoing bid narrative in most situations.

But snipe can't really be prevented. It's one way to play the game.

So users have to use third party sniping instead. It blows. I hate automation. But an in-house snipe would allow eBay yo charge an additional fee for that type of bid like they do with Buy It Now.

I really don't buy on eBay anymore, though, just because I've gotten so much low quality junk over the years and can buy from the artist or Amazon or Bandcamp or whatever download option is available.

I have one of the Charles Degeyter gig posters  (if you want to call it that) for the Birmingham show.  it's an actual food tray, no maggots on this one. $155 shipped in the USA. Outside of US I could get a shipping quote. PayPal only.
