Just had a listen, hmmm pretty good. It did fly past and sounded a bit like Buzz and Dale in there somewhere. For some reason i expected it to sound a bit more Melvins-y. A solid release there.

listened again. Foo Fighters? maybe the first album (if you squint your eyes, er...ears) but has elements of danger and rawness i haven't heard in FF since the 90s. modern FF is basically punk flavored Bon Jovi, it's so polished and formulaic.

I still get a strong Superunknown vibe. Even though Matt's songs there were less memorable than "Rhinosaur," "Room a Thousand Years Wide," and "Drawing Flies" I think these songs really resemble more of the Cornell compositions on Superunknown.
